Mother's Day Flowers

Surprise!

I usually have a case of the Mondays, but not this Monday! This morning Phoebe brought me some sunshine in the form of flowers. She's the best-est.

Korean Shaved Ice

Most people are familiar with Italian ice. Well this is Korea's answer to Italian ice. It is shaved ice with sweet red bean paste and all kinds of fruits topped with ice cream. It is the best summer treat in Korea and is nearly impossible to find in Columbus.

Painkiller

I had sinus surgery and it was extremely painful. My doctor prescribed painkillers and they were definitely my sunshine for the first few weeks after surgery.

My friend's sister Robyn had her bachelorette party and we went out to dinner. There was a guy at the restaurant who made balloon animals and this is what he made for me.

Is that a real ocean out there?

When I went Cancun, Mexico I was very nervous when I landed because I read a bad scamming story right before I left. When I finally got to the hotel and went to the lobby to check in, the first sentence out of my mouth was "Is that a real Ocean?" It looked so beautiful I thought maybe it was just a picture! This picture was taken from my hotel room.
